By utilising natural fillers, it creates a beautiful, natural-looking finish that is unmatched by other products on the market.

The decorative coating should be applied stricktly on a quality basis. The surface must be solid, dry, free of efflorescence, dust, dirt, oil and grease. Previously painted surface should be cleaned of old material. Places affected by mold or moss should be thoroughly cleaned mechanically and treated with D 07 Elf™ primer or other special agents.
Apply tinted in the required color QUARTZ PRIMER or QUARTZ PRIMER NERO, depending on the chosen application technique and the desired pattern, on a prepared surface, previously treated with D 14 Elf™ reinforcing primer. Wait until it is completely dry.
Stir ART STONE thoroughly before application. Add the selected dye in accordance with the color chart in the catalog or use a computer tinting system if necessary. Stir it well again.
ART STONE decorative coating can be applied using techniques similar to those for TOSCANA, GROTTO and TRAVERTINO STYLE decorative coatings (see TOSCANA, GROTTO and TRAVERTINO STYLE application technologies in the main product catalog or on our website).
The main idea of ART STONE coating is to give an opportunity for masters to show their artistic skills, experience and mastership by creating uniquely designed coatings. There are no strict rules for this material. Each master can apply the coating in his own way depending on his own vision of the final result. In order to enhance the genuine effect, as well as to obtain creative and non-typical coatings, you should combine ART STONE base with ART STONE PASTE - both in-depth and on top of the applied layer depending on the desired effect. Tinting of ART STONE base in various shades allows you to get an unlimited number of solutions. Also the genuine effect can be enhanced and variegated using such natural additives as DECOR CHIPS, DECOR FLAKES and GRANULES.
It is recommended to tool the surface with an electric sander, thus revealing many natural components hidden in the mass of the product, after ART STONE has completely dried (24 hours after the last coat has been applied). Depth and intensity of this tooling - at the discretion of the master.
Before applying the decorative layer, it is recommended to prime the surface with D-14 ELF ™ primer. This will facilitate the application of the topcoat and protect against the emergence of docking spots.
As a decorative and protective layer inside the premises, it is recommended to use a variety of finishing materials: DECOR WAX, DECOR WAX TOSCANA, DECOR WAX MURANO, DECOR WAX MURANO AQUA or VINTAGE. Tool the surface with a polishing machine with the desired degree of gloss after complete stabilization of the protective and decorative layer (after 24-48 hours) if necessary.
